Bang88 is more than a betting platform — it's a trusted home for millions of Bangladeshi sports fans. Here's the story of how we started, what drives us, and where we're headed.
Why bang88 was created — and where we're headed.
To deliver a safe, transparent, and enjoyable betting experience to every sports fan in Bangladesh. We want online betting in Bangladesh to mean bang88 — that's our simple goal.
To build a platform where betting is purely entertainment — not a source of stress or financial harm. Fostering a culture of responsible betting is at the heart of our long-term vision.
Being honest with every member, keeping payments transparent, and resolving issues quickly — these are the three commitments bang88 has always upheld and will continue to honour.
It was 2019. The online betting market in Bangladesh was fragmented — foreign platforms, English interfaces, no Bangla support, payment headaches, and no way to get help when something went wrong. bang88 was born out of that gap.
The founders had a simple vision: build a platform for Bangladeshi users, in Bangla, with Bangladeshi payment methods — where anyone could deposit via bKash, get support in Bangla, and place bets confidently with live odds.
Bang88 started with just a few thousand users in its first year. The platform gained rapid recognition during the cricket World Cup season. Live betting on Bangladesh matches, odds analysis in Bangla, and fast payouts — these three things set bang88 apart from the start.
"We wanted to build a place where an everyday Bangladeshi — someone who may not speak much English — could place a bet on their favourite match without any hesitation or fear."
Bang88 launched its first mobile app in 2021. Since then, the user base has doubled year on year. Today, bang88 has over 500,000 active members — from Dhaka to Chittagong, Sylhet to Rajshahi, people across every corner of Bangladesh use bang88.
The foundation of bang88's success is trust. We have never held back a payment, never closed an account without cause, and never walked back on a promise. That culture is built into bang88's DNA.
Here's why bang88 is Bangladesh's most trusted platform — the reasons speak for themselves.
Every section, button, and notification on bang88 is in Bangla — no English required. That has been our priority from day one.

Even at 3 a.m., bang88's support team is awake and ready. Live Chat, email, and phone support are all available in Bangla — no waiting, no bots.

A few milestones that brought bang88 to where it is today.

In Bangladesh, cricket is more than a sport — it's a passion, an identity. When the national team takes the field, the whole country unites as one. bang88's connection to that passion grew naturally. We give every Bangladesh match the attention it deserves — the best odds, in-depth analysis, and a full Live Betting experience.
The BPL is the pinnacle of cricket celebration in Bangladesh. Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur — every city has its own team and its own fans. On bang88, every BPL match comes with special odds boosts, along with expert pitch reports and predicted playing XI lineups.
Bang88 believes a great betting platform is responsible not just for running the game, but for the wellbeing of its members. That's why every account comes with deposit limit settings, session time limits, and a self-exclusion option.
Our support team is trained to help — if any member feels uncomfortable about their betting, they're ready to step in right away. We never want anyone to be hurt because of bang88.
This is what bang88 is truly about — a platform where entertainment and responsibility go hand in hand. Our goal isn't just to grow; it's to do things right.
Bang88 isn't stopping here. Our roadmap includes an iOS app launch, broader sports coverage, enhanced live streaming, and personalised betting experiences. Our goal is for bang88 to become the leading Bangla-language betting platform not just in Bangladesh, but across South Asia.
